Circle Reveals Plans for Native Arc Token
Circle is advancing its Arc blockchain project, with plans for a native token, according to CEO Jeremy Allaire.
Circle, a major stablecoin issuer, is evaluating a native token for its Arc blockchain. Jeremy Allaire, the chief executive, discussed this during the Q4 2025 earnings call. We are analysing how such a token would function within the network. Allaire noted that the token could handle incentives, governance, security, and utility. We see clear tradeoffs in these design choices. However, a launch timeline has not been set yet. We need to monitor how this implementation affects security and decentralisation.
